How far in advance should I book?

For domestic tours we recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks in advance. For international and pilgrimage tours (Char Dham, Kailash, Amarnath), please book 4–8 weeks ahead as flights, permits and hotel blocks fill quickly during peak season.

Can I customise a package (dates, hotels, sightseeing)?

Yes. Every package on the website is a starting point. Share your preferred travel dates, group size, hotel category (3★/4★/5★) and any special requirements - we will build a custom itinerary and quote for you at no extra cost.

Do you handle group bookings for families, offices or schools?

Absolutely. We regularly organise group tours for families, corporate offsites, school and college trips, and temple committees. Group sizes of 10+ get special pricing and a dedicated tour coordinator.

Will I receive a booking confirmation?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Once the advance payment is received, you will get a written confirmation on WhatsApp/email with the final itinerary, hotel names, inclusions and emergency contacts.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS/RTGS), cash at our office, and all major debit/credit cards. Payment details are shared privately once your itinerary is confirmed.

How much advance do I need to pay?

For domestic tours the advance is typically 25–40% of the total package cost. For international, pilgrimage and peak-season tours the advance can be 50% or the full flight/visa cost, since those are non-refundable once ticketed.

When is the balance payment due?

The remaining balance is due 7–10 days before the travel date for domestic tours, and 15–30 days before departure for international tours. Exact timelines are mentioned in your confirmation.

Do you provide a proper invoice / GST bill?

Yes. A GST-compliant invoice is issued for every booking. If you need it in your company name for reimbursement, please share the company name and GSTIN at the time of booking.

Is my payment secure?

Payments are made directly to our verified business bank account or UPI ID - never to a personal account. Always confirm the account name matches 'Sri Rajeswari Tours & Travels' before transferring.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation charges depend on how many days before departure you cancel:
• 30+ days before: 10% of package cost
• 15–29 days before: 25%
• 7–14 days before: 50%
• Less than 7 days: 75–100%
Non-refundable components (flights, visa fees, train tickets, hotel advance) are charged separately as per actuals.

How do I cancel a booking?

How long do refunds take?

Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 working days to the original payment method. Refunds involving airlines, hotels or foreign vendors may take up to 30–45 days depending on their turnaround.

What if I need to postpone or change my travel dates?

Date changes are free up to 15 days before departure, subject to availability. Within 15 days, actual airline/hotel reissue charges may apply. Talk to us early - most changes can be handled without a full cancellation.

What happens if the tour is cancelled due to weather, strikes or force majeure?

If we cancel a tour because of weather, natural disasters, government restrictions or other force majeure events, you can choose a full credit for a future tour or a refund minus non-refundable third-party costs (airline, visa, hotel penalty).

Do you help with passports and visas?

Yes. For international tours we assist with the full visa process - document checklist, form filling, appointment booking and submission - for countries like UAE, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Bali. Passport application/renewal guidance is available on request.

What documents do I need to carry?

For domestic travel: government photo ID (Aadhaar / Driving Licence / Voter ID / Passport) for every traveller, including children. For international travel: passport valid for at least 6 months beyond return date, visa (where applicable), confirmed return tickets and hotel vouchers - all provided by us.

What about pilgrimage tour permits (Char Dham, Kailash, Amarnath)?

We arrange all required permits - Char Dham biometric registration, Amarnath yatra permit, Kailash Mansarovar visa and Chinese permits - as part of the package. You only need to send us scanned copies of your Aadhaar, passport photos and medical fitness certificate on time.

Are travel insurance and medical cover included?

Basic travel insurance is included in most international packages. For domestic and pilgrimage tours we strongly recommend adding travel insurance - we can arrange it at nominal cost. Please declare any pre-existing medical conditions at the time of booking.

What if I lose my documents during the trip?

Call our 24×7 tour helpline immediately. We will coordinate with the local police, embassy/consulate (for international trips) and our on-ground partner to help you file reports and arrange emergency travel documents so your journey continues with minimum disruption.
